Portfolio: Lexus Hybrid Living Suite, Washington DC

The inspiration for this project was a photograph of a room designed by the late great Dorothy Draper. When I saw the photograph, it was so crisp and clear that I thought that the room itself was all black, white and shades of gray. By the time I realized that I was looking at a black and white photograph of colored room, an idea was born. I wanted the guests of this suite to feel like they were walking into a black and white photograph– with only the art on the walls providing splashes of color.

Can I Just say…..Splendid!Love that you wanted the “black & white” effect. It makes the room feel timeless & elegant.
